about mE

My deepest desire is to help individuals, couples, and families achieve their best social-emotional and mental wellness. Throughout my personal life-journey, I have intimately experienced and witnessed how overwhelming, exhausting and, at times, destructive unhealthy relationships can be to the individual and/or the family unit. I have also seen first-hand how a consistent, goal-oriented, and collaborative therapeutic journey brings real, long-lasting changes and healing, even in the most difficult situations. As a therapist, I thrive to connect with each of my clients in an approachable, authentic and personal manner in order to build a therapeutic relationship based on trust, understanding, and respect.  When a sense of safety and comfort is well-established, clients are able to share their stories, their struggles, and vulnerability.  Only then can transformation happen and therapeutic treatment begin.

I was raised in a non-religious family and converted to the Catholic faith in my mid-twenties.  My conversion journey places me in a unique position as I am a good fit for a broad spectrum of clients. I cater to clients who are faith-centered and desire to be “accompanied” by God during their therapeutic journey with me. I also welcome clients of all life journeys and paths, whether they are faith-centered or not.  As I lived half of my life as a non-believer, I have a personal understanding of what it means to have values and beliefs that are non-religious or spiritually-based.  I pride myself to be curious, inquisitive and respectful of my clients’ worldviews and perspectives without imposing my own.
